Wole Hammond is a sustainability strategist with extensive experience in research, project management in green projects and integrating ESG practices into corporate operations. He also uses multimedia storytelling to raise awareness of environmental issues and to promote sustainable development. His work has seen him mobilize green investments into cleantech enterprises in emerging markets to scale impact; support national clean energy policy development in Nigeria; and execute skills programs targeted at young people to gain skills for green jobs. He is a Climate Reality Leader; a Member of the Africa Photojournalism Database; and a WEF Global Shaper. He was also a 2020 Bakanal d’Afrique Fellow. Wole was previously the Assistant Manager, Environment and Climate at Clean Technology Hub. He is a thought leader in sustainability; he has spoken at various forums and featured in reputable publications. He currently works with the African Climate Foundation as a Researcher focusing on climate adaptation in Africa. He recently co-authored a series of country reports titled 'From Risk to Resilience' on four African countries, including Zambia and Kenya.
