Three years of research experience, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. 1986, joined the Indian Administrative Service; has held positions in the State of Orissa and Kerala; 2009-12, Head of the Indian IP Administration (Controller-General of Patents, Trademarks and Designs). Currently, Principal Secretary, Information Technology, Government of Kerala, India. Engaged in the promotion of innovative start-ups in the state of Kerala. Recognized as one of the 50 "most influential IP personalities" (2009 and 2010), Managing IP magazine.
