Panagiotis Madamopoulos-Moraris

Director of Partnerships, Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence

Panagiotis (Panos) Madamopoulos is the founding Managing Director of Industry Programs & Partnerships at Stanford University's Human-Centered AI (HAI) Institute. Overseeing a vast portfolio of industry initiatives, Panos accelerates the AI journey of companies through human-centric strategies. His partnerships span tech giants such as IBM, Google, and Microsoft, and industry leaders including Wells Fargo, McKinsey, Accenture, Pepsi, and Siam Commercial Bank.
Prior to HAI, Panos co-founded ReGeneration, which is now the largest education and employment impact program for young graduates in Greece. Before that, he served as a member of the Board as well as the Strategy, Business Development, and Real Estate Director of Agora Trading (now Amarla Retail), a fashion, retail, and consumer goods operating group spanning 15 international markets until its sale in 2016. Alongside his entrepreneurial journey, he has been an angel investor and advisor to AI startups and frontier tech-focused venture funds. Panos holds an LLB from Democritus University Law School, an LLM from University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an Masters in Business from Stanford Business School, where he was granted the Rochat Fellowship. He previously served as the first curator of the Global Shapers Community Athens HUB and sat on the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Advisory Council on Partnerships.
