Patience Chisanga is a Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Media Expert. She has worked as a Radio and Television Broadcaster,Public Speaking, Leadership and Branding Trainer for over 10 years and currently running a freelance media consulting business.
As a former Corporate Communications Manager at Lawrence Sikutwa & Associates Ltd, an African, Zambian Group of Companies that operates Madison Financial Services PLC, a close-knit and well diversified financial services group of companies, offering various products and services in insurance, Micro lending, Asset management, stockbroking, Tourism investment and Health Services under Madison Health Services; she coordinated the communications output within the Lawrence Sikutwa and Associates Group of Companies, developed and implemented the Groups Public Relations strategy and the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
As a Global Shaper, Patience is Co-Founder and Partner of Lis Sanitary Pads which in collaboration with the Lusaka Global Shapers is implementing Menstruation Matters, a project that she founded aimed at solving the problem of menstrual hygiene management (MHM) amongst school girls in rural areas of Zambia concentrating on provision of appropriate, girl-friendly, timely information about menstrual hygiene management and the safe and free distribution of sanitary pads. She is a freelance Radio and Television broadcaster, Entrepreneur and Mandela Washington fellow passionate about communication for development, social change, education and new media.
