Patrick Stephenson has worked with Accra based think tank - IMANI in various roles since February 2011 and currently serves as its Head of Policy Research & Finance. He works with researchers across four Centres in Energy & Infrastructure, Social Policy, Science Technology and Innovation, and Economic Governance and Political Affairs. The influence of his work at IMANI has contributed immensely to IMANI being named among the top 4 most influential think tanks in Africa, and most influential in Ghana for the last 5 years.
Having previously worked as Economic Research Analyst of First Atlantic Bank Ghana Limited and as a broadcast journalist, he also consults on financial compliance and market strategy for mPedigree Network, and volunteers as the Curator of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Accra Hub. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting), and a Master's Degree in Development Finance & Economics, from the University of Ghana Business School and is training as a financial journalist on the Bloomberg Media Initiative for Africa. A participatory development enthusiast, he enjoys working on his social enterprise - nCLUDED with other partners to develop tools that improve citizens engagement in local governance.
