Mr. Nicholas joined Microsoft in 2005 and currently leads the company’s global cybersecurity public policy efforts including working with governments to advance cloud and international cyber norms. He is a subject matter expert in critical infrastructure protection, information sharing, and emergency preparedness. Prior to joining Microsoft he served eight years in the US Government including as: White House Cybersecurity Director; US Senate Policy Adviser; Assistant Director, Government Accountability Office.
