Paula is the CEO of Socialab in Uruguay, an organization that seeks to generate a positive social impact at a global level through the search and support of sustainable enterprises at an early stage. It seeks to promote a new model of socio-economic development, focused on solving the main problems of humanity through these initiatives. Paula is graduated of the Teach For All program in Uruguay: Teach Uruguay, and is now a member of the Alumni movement. She is an active participant since she believes in education as a transformed tool.
Paula founded in 2011 a non-formal education center called Unidos, in a poor neighborhood of Montevideo where they give school support and recreational activities to children and young people. She also sits on the Advisory Board member various NGO's such as Unidos.
Paula is TED official talker. She is a professor in the University of Montevideo teaching social ventures, and is also mentor of social impact projects in Perú through the International Innovation Network.
She holds a Bachelors of accountability and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Economics and Management for inclusion. Paula is convinced that it is possible to solve the great problems of humanity through the strength of business.
