Peter Gudritz

Peter is Director for the Office of the CEO and Executive Communications. He leads the team responsible for strategic message development and implementation of meetings, events, speeches and other corporate internal and external engagements for Dow’s CEO. Peter joined Dow in 2010 in Midland in Government Affairs as Public Policy Manager, where he led the development of policy strategies focusing on energy and environmental policy. He also had responsibility for developing Dow’s global Advanced Manufacturing Policy platform. Peter also served as Senior Manager for Northeast State Government Affairs based in Philadelphia where he was responsible for coordinating Dow’s public policy, government affairs and political strategies and building strong stakeholder relationships throughout the Northeastern U.S. There he served on numerous boards including Executive Committee Chair of the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council, the Management Committee of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, other Chemical Industry Councils through the region. Before Dow, Peter was based in Washington, DC and held roles at numerous NGOs focused on energy, climate, and water policy. Peter earned his Master’s in Public Policy with a focus on Energy Policy from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. as well as a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
