Forty years of field, foundation and non-profit experience internationally (Peace Corps, Save the Children, Bernard van Leer Foundation, Firelight Foundation, Hilton Foundation) with a focus on humanitarian systems, localization, community development, education, child survival and development. Have worked in Morocco, Mali, Netherlands, and US, with significant connections to Burkina Faso, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Currently, President and CEO, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which funds in the areas of safe drinking water, refugees, early childhood, homelessness, foster youth, workforce development, and Catholic Sisters. Co-Founder: International Education Funders Group; Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS. Serves of the boards of the Council on Foundations and the Pacific Council for International Policy.
