Human Resources professional with over two decades of cross-industry expertise across geographically diverse markets spanning sectors as diverse as Power & Automation to Media & Entertainment. In addition to being an ardent human resources practitioner, I have had business / line management experience having spent over 5 years in P&L roles in the FMCG and Events/Experiential Marketing sectors leading start-ups and strategic turnarounds.
At ABB since December 2014, I lead-manage the Talent, Learning, and Global Mobility portfolio with a focus on transforming the operating model and the go-to-market for these functions. I am tasked with the responsibility of building superior leadership teams across the organization. As part of my role, I spearhead the Diversity & Inclusion agenda for the company, a subject I am deeply passionate about.
Prior to joining ABB, I spent several years in the Retail industry working in Paris, France, as Head of Human Resources for the international remit of Groupe Carrefour, the world’s second largest retailer, responsible for the entire gamut of the HR function for an employee base of almost 300.000 people. In addition to my generalist role as Head of HR International, I held Group-wide responsibility for Talent (People & Careers) Management spanning leadership development, succession management and building high performance teams. My tenure at Carrefour was preceded by stints in Media & Entertainment, FMCG and Technology sectors.
I graduated Law School from Pune University, India, following which I completed an MBA specializing in Human Resources from the same University.
