Princi’s journey spans over 10 enriching years, during which she has made significant strides in the realms of technology entrepreneurship and digital development in Nepal. Her passion for these fields is rivaled only by her dedication as an educator, having lent her expertise to numerous business and art schools across Nepal. Currently, She is working as a Research Consultant for The Asia Foundation in Nepal. Her primary role is to lead interdisciplinary research on AI and develop programs to enhance and support this ecosystem in Nepal. She recently got an opportunity to be a part of a peer review team for the recent document released by the government of Nepal on “AI concept paper.” She is also currently enrolled in Ethics, Technology and Public Policy course for practitioners by Stanford University.

Previously as the co-founder of Moonlit Solutions, Princi has actively participated in projects that revolve around data-driven decision-making. Princi’s expertise also extends to her role as the former Chief Product/Marketing Officer of Tootle, Nepal’s pioneering ride-sharing platform. Princi’s multifaceted journey intricately weaves together her entrepreneurial acumen, educational fervour, and commitment to technology ethics, sustainability and good governance. She has a passion for emerging technology, sustainability and innovation.

As a Global Shaper of Kathmandu Hub, Princi made compassionate efforts to create impact through projects centered on agile governance, disaster response, and media outreach. Her advocacy in Agile Governance brought together experts to foster policy dialogue, highlighted by her role in moderating the “Shaping Agile Governance in Nepal” event. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she co-led relief efforts, distributing rations in Kathmandu and supporting migrant workers at the Nepalgunj border, demonstrating her commitment to vulnerable communities. Serving as the media lead in 2020-2021, Princi strategically amplified the hub’s initiatives through design, campaigns and outreach, showcasing her dedication to using media for social good and widespread impact.
