Rateb is the Managing Director of Intersect Innovation Hub and incubator of innovation for Fintech and Cybersecurity Startups, and is also an International Adviser at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Rateb worked as the Director of Smart-X in Accelerating Technology Startups, before joining Smart-X Rateb was the Senior Accounts Manager at Ellam Tam and worked at the U.S Consulate General in Jerusalem as the Information & Communications Assistant.

Rateb Actively Co-Founded the establishment and management of JEST ( Jerusalem Entrepreneurs for Society and Technology) as NGO started its activities two years ago to support Palestinians living in East Jerusalem to help them to start their business and to stay in Jerusalem, develop the city’s Palestinian intellectual capital as well as develop and diversify the fledgling economy of East Jerusalem.

Rateb is also an active member in the Middle East Leadership Academy-MELA, an Offspring organization of the Society of International Business Fellows-SIBF, he holds a PhD in international Law and International relations and a Master’s in Political Science.
