As a Global Shapers Vice Curator for the Muscat Hub, Rawan is dedicated to fostering positive change and resilience within communities worldwide. With a background in psychology and currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, Rawan is passionate in promoting mental health initiatives and access to treatment, advocating for mental health awareness, and empowering individuals to prioritize their well-being. Through collaborative efforts with different organizations, and her work around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Rawan strives to create inclusive and safe spaces that address the complex challenges surrounding mental health on a global scale. Alongside this, Rawan’s current focus impact areas within the Muscat Hub are climate action and upskilling and reskilling, with a vision of empowering people within the community.
