Reese Wong is an award-winning social entrepreneur, policy advisor and ecosystem-builder working at the intersection of technology, strategy and public impact.
He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and served as one of the youngest Curators (London II Hub). In 2019, Reese founded ISSIA, Hong Kong’s largest youth-led nonprofit, mobilising 500+ volunteers across 80 schools. The organisation launched over 30 initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and was recognised by the UN and Nasdaq.
His work spans technology policy, innovation ecosystems and public sector transformation. Reese began his career at Ashoka and the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. He has since contributed to emerging technology and AI policy through roles with the U.S. Department of State, the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, the UK Parliament, and supported global health and biosecurity strategy at the UK Health Security Agency. He is currently an Analyst at Accenture, working on AI-driven transformation.
Alongside his professional work, Reese is the founder of the Potentia Fellowship and Ripple Social Club, initiatives designed to elevate young people's ambition, agency and access as societies navigate the transformation of work and opportunity in the age of AI. He is also the Managing Director of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy London.
Reese is a 2024 Diana Award recipient, an Aspen UK Rising Leaders Fellow, and has delivered over 100 talks at international conferences, universities and global forums on technology, social entrepreneurship and policy.
He studied BSc International Relations at the London School of Economics.
