Born in Cambodia before moving to Canada at age 13, Richard Yim, Co-Founder of Demine Robotics, put his engineering and manufacturing expertise to work founding Demine Robotics to make the demining process safer and more efficient by neutralizing mines without human supervision.

Recently awarded the Forbes 30Under30 in 2019, Yim has held engineering positions at the Mosaic Company, S&C Electric and Spec Furniture. He holds a BASc. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Entrepreneurship Technology degree from the University of Waterloo.
