Roberto Jaguaribe

Graduated in Systems Engineering, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. 1978, joined the diplomatic service. Former: Brazilian Ambassador to China and to the United Kingdom; Minister-Counsellor, Embassy of Brazil in Washington, DC. With Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held posts of Undersecretary-General for Political Affairs II; Director, Trade Promotion Department; Head, Intellectual Property and Sensitive Technologies Division, among others. Also held posts of President, National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI); Secretary of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade; Secretary of International Affairs, Ministry of Planning and Budget. Currently, President, Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency - Apex-Brasil.
