Roberto Kikawa

Roberto Kikawa is a doctor and medical entrepreneur. Before becoming President and Founder of CIES Global in 2008 and a renowned Brazilian gastroenterologist, Roberto was introduced to medicine as a child through learning first-aid as a member of the Scouts and, years later, witnessing his father battle cancer. Prior to his position, Roberto led endoscopy services in a number of hospitals, was a professor and served as the Clinical Director at Sao Camilo Hospital. Under Roberto’s leadership, CIES Global delivers specialized, humanized and high-technology preventive medical care to communities in need through advanced mobile medical centres. From the last 10 years, CIES Global has treated around 2 million direct beneficiaries.
