I am currently General Counsel at Writer, a full-stack generative AI platform built for the enterprise. In addition to running the legal team, I'm responsible for helping shape Writer’s approach to AI governance. Prior to Writer, I spent 5 years at Asana, serving in a variety of capacities from Head of Legal to Head of Product, Privacy, IP and Compliance, helped take the company public via direct listing, and led Asana’s legal advocacy program. My interest in public policy and governance at the interaction of law and technology began while interning at the Center for Democracy and Technology and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. I'm CIPPE US and EU certified and am licensened to practice in California.
