Ms. Ruth Moatti is Israel’s Youth Delegate to the United Nations. In her role, she represents the voice of young Israelis and shares with the international community the accomplishments, concerns, and aspirations of her generation. Ruth Is also the CEO of “Brera" (Choice) Center. In her capacity as the director of the legal-social organization, she oversees the volunteering work of over a hundred law students, trained to provide legal assistance to underprivileged people.

Ruth was born and raised in Jerusalem, where she still lives today. Ruth is currently pursuing her Law degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She was chosen to participate in the Rothschild Ambassadors Program, a prestigious scholarship, whose purpose is to develop social and business leadership in Israel.

Ruth served as a Lieutenant in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) International Relations Department, and as the Spokesperson of the Medical Corps. She later joined AIPAC-AIEF Israel, working with high-level delegations and government officials. Alongside her developing career, Ruth has taken part in a wide variety of social impact initiatives, including volunteering with Holocaust survivors and assisting families in financial difficulty so that they may regain their financial health. Ruth participated in a delegation to Uganda with ‘Project TEN’, where she volunteered with local women and developed a business and entrepreneurship course to achieve economic independence.

Ruth is dedicated to strengthening the Israeli youth’s involvement in the achievement of the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals. She believes that by harnessing the Israeli spirit of innovation for global causes, the state’s youth can turn Israel into the world’s Impact Nation.
