A former Googler, Saloni left her budding career in the technology company to pursue entrepreneurship in her home country, Nepal. After dabbling in a few industries, and facing resistance in a field dominated by men, she found traction in the audio industry. Today, she is the Executive Director at M.A.W. Music, which operates the largest musical instruments and audio equipment store of the country and makes high-quality and difficult-to-find audio equipment available to its people. Her company also also provides sophisticated design services and audio visual equipment for places where good av is crucial and complex integrations are needed. Segueing from her own experiences, Saloni’s mission is to help fellow women entrepreneurs of Nepal succeed. She currently runs a podcast Unheard with Saloni where she interviews women from different industries so that other women can learn from them. She is passionate about traveling and trekking in Nepal, and regularly organizes hikes for her friends.
