Samiya is an award-winning community leader and innovation strategist dedicated to advancing inclusive, future-focused solutions for people and our planet.
With over a decade of experience across the Middle East, Europe, and South America, she enables people and ideas to unlock their highest potential and scale meaningful impact. As Director of Strategy and Operations at an innovation management firm, she empowered startups and mid-market organizations to grow through strategic foresight and human-centered design. Prior to that, she advised Oman's public healthcare sector on organizational strategy, human capital development, and policy reform.
Samiya's work is rooted in a deep commitment to community building and social innovation. As Curator of the Global Shapers Muscat Hub, she refounded the community, expanding membership and governance while launching initiatives in youth development, future skills, and mental health. She also founded Earth Guardians, a grassroots movement supported by The Climate Reality Project that amplifies environmental leadership and climate resilience in the Global South.
She serves on the Longevity Economy Task Force at the World Economic Forum's Centre for Financial and Monetary Systems, shaping efforts on financial resilience, intergenerational equity, and the future of healthy aging. As a delegate to the 2025 Annual Meeting of the New Champions, she contributed to high-level dialogues on climate action, international trade, and emerging economies.
Beyond strategy and advocacy, Samiya brings the same intentionality to the spaces she creates, designing immersive workshops and facilitating conversations where empathetic listening, systems thinking, and cross-sector collaboration spark positive change. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a BSc in Business Management and Administration.
Off the clock, Samiya enjoys curating culinary experiences, camping under the stars, and expressing herself through art and music.
