Dr. Sandra Braman is an information policy expert who is Professor of Media & Information and Senior Scholar of the Quello Center for Media & Information Policy at Michigan State University. She is editor of the Information Policy Book Series at the MIT Press (https://mitpress.mit.edu/series/information-policy/). She has been winning awards for her research for 40 years, including most recently for her book CHANGE OF STATE: INFORMATION, POLICY, AND POWER (MIT Press, 2006) for being a book of enduring value as judged by the top 1/2 of 1% of the field internationally by research record. Braman is former Chair of the Communication Law & Policy Division of the International Communication Association and former Head of the Law Section of the International Association of Media & Communication Research.
