Saud Al-Thani currently works as an Analyst at ictQatar, the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology in Doha, Qatar. He is currently working on the Smart Nation Program, an initiative aimed at improving the quality of life in Qatar through the use of technology and Big Data analytics. Saud graduated from Princeton University in 2013 and prior to his work in ictQatar, he worked at Qatar Foundation on Solar Energy research. In his spare time, he helped organize the Qatar Desert Challenge and the Outward Bound Oman Expedition, two annual activities that use sports as a mechanism for civic engagement and leadership training.
