Sharam Gulzad is the Chief Executive Officer of the Gulzad Group, a family-owned Afghan conglomerate with interests in agriculture, construction and industrial services. Gulzad is on the Board of Directors at Harakat, a non-profit organization with the aim of making business easier in Afghanistan, a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan, with a mission of promoting investments in Afghanistan, and on the Board of Directors of the Kabul Institute for Peace, which was established to promote peace through his network and reputation in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan. He is also Founder and Chairman of the Afghanistan Youth TV, which is designed to provide a platform for positive and constructive discussion of issues concerning youth in Afghanistan.
