Fellow, Indian Institute of Architects; Charter Member, Indian Green Building Council. Invited by World Bank to design affordable housing in 1987 - Year of Shelter for Shelterless. Honours: Leibniz University, Germany and University of Valencia, Spain, for contributions to socio-economic and environmental sustainability. Member of WEF's Global Agenda Council for Design Innovation 2011-2012, and for Role of Art in Society(2012-2013). Proposed the concept of Reciprocal Design Index in 2011 at the GAC for design of cities, which "offers an alternative value system in society through transparency and participation within a specific context for a sustainable future." Top 10 Most Influential Architects by Construction Global Magazine. Honorable Architect Award by the Indian Institute of Architects in 2015. Named as one of the most Influential Architectural practices in India by Architecture Digest magazine; among the TOP 100 ARCHITECTS In the world – by the prestigious Italian Design Journal , Il Giornalle Del Architecture. Participated in the Dialogue of Global Commons Washington. Invited by the European Commission as key note speaker in networking session at the UN Habitat III, 2016.
