Since 1999, Partner and Chief Scientist, Los Alamos Dynamics; 2001-04, Technical Staff Member, Weapon Response Group, Los Alamos National Laboratory; 2004-06, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University; since 2007, Associate Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, KAIST, South Korea; Adjunct Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University. Research interests: structural health monitoring and damage detection, smart materials and structures, active sensing, experimental modal analysis and vibration testing, system identification, signal processing, probabilistic and statistical analysis, statistical pattern recognition, structural analysis, structural dynamics.
