Sophie Fisher is a Board Director at YWCA Canberra and Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT. She also volunteers as a mentor to young women across Australia. In 2017, Sophie founded Girls on Bikes, a free learn-to-ride program which mobilises and connects migrant and refugee women in Canberra. Now in its fourth year, the program has taught over 90 women how to ride. During the day, Sophie works as an Assistant Director in the Australian Public Service and is currently studying a Master of Asian and Pacific Studies at the Australian National University.
