Alumni, Global Shapers Community

As a Law graduate from Staffordshire University, I am currently employed at the Ombudsman Office of Seychelles as the Legal/Investigation Officer for the past two years and a half. Keen to be fully engaged in the community and wanting to influence positive change, I try to play a active role in my community. At University, I volunteered for the British Heart Foundation for Staffordshire University’s Great Donate campaign, I also underwent a volunteer internship with the National Council for Children in Seychelles in 2017. I’ve participated in Beach clean ups for local NGO, The Ocean Project for the past few years. Most recently, I have embarked on a new journey as a member of the Global Shapers Victoria Hub where I hope to play an active role in making a difference in our cool projects whilst also assisting the Impact Officer Team.
Always looking forward to a learning experience and improving my skill sets, I have taken on different work experiences whenever I get the chance, with an aim to promote human rights and preserve and protect the environment. I worked part time with The Ocean Project NGO as a Research Assistant. Additionally, I worked as an Electoral Assistant during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections in 2020.
I always aim to be active outside or work or schooling, whether it be something big or small. Performing arts has always been an incredible interest of mine from a very young age, especially dancing where I was a student of the School of Dance of Seychelles through out my school years. At university I joined the Staffordshire University Dance Club participating in inter university dance competitions around England. I also took on the role of the Communications Officer for the Dance club during my final year at university. Additionally, at University I was also a member of the Staffordshire University Law Society. Being active outside of school and work is something I would love to encourage our youths to do.
