Søren Peter Andreasen, is the CEO of EDFI – the Association of European Development Finance Institutions. In his roles as the Association’s General Manager and Chairman of the EDFI Management Company he leads EDFI’s work to promote members’ professional networks, inform policy, and drive innovation in industry standards. Before joining EDFI in 2016, Søren worked in the consulting industry with a specialisation in development finance, investment and business development in emerging and frontier markets. He started his professional career as an intern in the United Nations Secretariat in New York before he joined McKinsey & Company in Copenhagen and subsequently co-founded the consulting company Dalberg Global Development Advisors. He is a Danish Citizen and holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a BSc in Political Science from Aarhus University.
