A strong believer in community, Sotonye Dan is a writer, journalist and academic philosopher whose writing and research endeavour reflect the common human condition. In 2016, as radio personality at Orange 94.5 FM, Akure, Sotonye spearheaded on-air sensitization on Lassa Fever. In February 2018, he organized a prison outreach that catered for over 100 inmates of the Port Harcourt Maximum Security Prison, providing food and toiletries. He is currently working on a research and a documentary series towards social justice for Nigeria's Niger Delta region. Sotonye Dan lives in Port Harcourt.
