Stephanie Blenckner joined SIPRI as Communications Director in January 2009. Before coming to SIPRI Stephanie led the communications team at the Stockholm International Water Institute, another Swedish-based think tank involved in international water and development issues. She has also worked for several press agencies and publishers in Sweden and Germany. She has a Diploma in Natural Sciences from Kiel University, Germany and a degree in Communications from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala.
