Sufyan works for the International Science Council Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ISC ROAP). He manages regional science-policy and capacity building activities related to disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change in Asia Pacific working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Sufyan is also a member of U-INSPIRE Malaysia, a platform for Youth and Young Professionals in Science, Engineering, Technology & Innovation (SETI) to accelerate the implementation of DRR to support DRR policy and action at the local, national and international level.
