Surya Kolluri

Surya Kolluri leads research and external partnership efforts as part of Bank of
America’s Retirement and Personal Wealth Solutions Business. In this capacity he
oversees research and programs in the areas of Longevity, Retirement and Financial
Wellness. He manages external relationships including the Harvard Kennedy School,
Stanford Center on Longevity, MIT AgeLab, the Pension Research Council at Wharton,
Boston College Center for Retirement Research, AgingWell Hub at Georgetown
University and the Global Coalition on Aging.

Surya has spoken at a number of public forums including the World Economic Forum,
Tokyo G20 Summit on Aging and Financial Inclusion, White House Conference on
Aging Regional Forum in Boston, the National Governors Association summer
meeting, the Dementia X forum in Stockholm, the World Health Organization
Convening on Healthy Aging in Geneva, the OECD roundtable at Oxford University on
the topics of Longevity, Retirement, Financial Wellness, Cognitive Decline and
Caregiving. Recently he was invited to serve on the World Economic Forum Global
Future Council on Healthy Aging and Longevity. He has also engaged with students
and researchers on these topics at Harvard, Stanford, Brown, Yale and the University
of Pennsylvania.

Prior to this, Surya played a variety of roles at Bank of America including Head of
Strategy, Business Support Executive and Channel Development Manager. Surya
joined Bank of America in 2006 from Bain & Company. He spent 14 years as a
strategy management consultant based out of New York City with consulting firms
Bain & A.T. Kearney, serving clients in the US and around the world.
Surya currently serves on the board of the Wharton Pension Research Council as well
as the US Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter. He serves on the Advisory Board
of the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging. Surya is a member of the
Global Committee Leadership Group at the Defined Contribution Institutional
Investment Association (DCIIA). He also serves as a corporate member of the CEO
Initiative for Alzheimer’s (CEOI) and the Global Coalition on Aging (GCOA). He
previously served as co-chair of Rebuilding Together Boston, a volunteer
organization that helps rebuild homes for Boston communities in need.

Surya has an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of
Pennsylvania and an MS from Drexel University, Philadelphia. He lives in Brookline,
MA with his family.
