Susan holds a B.A (Hons) from Harvard concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy and an MBA from the University of New South Wales.

She has served as Dean of Students at the Women's College within the University of Sydney and has held internships in the UK Houses of Parliament, in Tanzania trialing the introduction of digital medical records and at Harvard providing pastoral care to students. Currently she is employed as a management consultant in Melbourne.
