Susanne Bruyere

Professor of Disability Studies, ILR School, Cornell University

Ph.D., in Rehabilitation Counselling Psychology, University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the Principal Investigator of numerous federally sponsored research, dissemination and technical assistance efforts focused on employment and disability policy and effective workplace practices for people with disabilities. Currently Professor of Disability Studies and Academic Director, Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability, ILR School, Ithaca, NY, a fellow in the American Psychological Association Division of Rehabilitation Psychology, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists. Past President: Division of Rehabilitation Psychology (22), American Psychological Association; American Rehabilitation Counseling Association; National Council on Rehabilitation Education. Fellow, American Psychological Association. Member of the National Academy of Social Insurance. Has served as an Executive Board Member of the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology (22) American Psychological Association, Chair of GLADNET (the Global Applied Disability Research and Information Network on Employment and Training), and Chair and current Member of the Board of CARF (rehabilitation facility accreditation organization).
