Takunda Mutee

Global Shaper, Harare Hub

Takunda is an MBA candidate at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, focused on business innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship. He is passionate about leveraging technology to empower Africa’s youth and drive sustainable economic growth on the continent.

At Fuqua, Takunda serves as the External Relations Lead for the Business in Africa Club and conducts research on USA-Africa trade relations as a Corporate Finance Research Assistant. He has also led consulting projects for Boston Scientific and Fidelity Investments, addressing healthcare access in East Africa and workplace financial wellness, respectively.

As a member of the Global Shapers Harare Hub, Takunda has spearheaded initiatives in education, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), and global health. He was selected as one of 50 young leaders globally to represent youth perspectives at the 2023 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.
