Former Secretary of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of Brazil. Currently, Senior Adviser to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Geneva; advises on trade negotiations, agriculture, market access, trade in services and trade and environment. Experience in teaching. Author of two books on trade issues. Expertise: international trade, in particular trade policy formulation and trade negotiations. Interests: issues related to global economic governance.
