Formerly, held academic positions in the US and later the UK; then with a multinational pharmaceutical company in the UK and worked in drug discovery for the past 10 years, in the UK, Singapore and now in Japan. Currently leads a global research effort covering key therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, neuroscience, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
