BSc, Boston College; MA in International Relations, Boston University. Former positions with various private organizations, acquiring extensive expertise in the telecommunications sector, as well as solid knowledge of public-private partnership and corporate citizenship initiatives with international organizations. 2002, joined the World Economic Forum as Head of the Aviation, Travel & Tourism community; has led the development of several public-private partnerships and corporate citizenship initiatives, and successfully launched the Industry Partnership Programme for the community. Has developed and led a number of multistakeholder projects on key issues facing the industry, such as the Towards a Low Carbon Travel & Tourism Sector and Carbon Neutral Skies Climate Change initiatives, competitiveness and numerous other projects addressing issues such as national branding complexities, managing the sector's reputation, sustainability & the consumer, advanced manufacturing. Author of Partnerships and Policies for a Sustainable Aviation Industry. Co-Author of the Global Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report. Interests: horseback riding, skiing, international relations and theatre.
