Twenty-seven year financial career has included roles in both the banking and investment industries. Former positions in High Yield and Loan Syndications, First Union Capital Markets, Bear Stearns and Company and Mellon Bank. 1998, Co-Founder, First Union Institutional Debt Management. 2002, joined Babson after First Union’s acquisition from Wachovia. Since 2008, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Babson Capital Management; has guided the growth of Babson into a global investment management firm with more than $212 billion in assets under management and locations in the US, Europe, Australia and South-East Asia. Chairman, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers; Director, Wood Creek Capital Management. Former Executive Vice-President and Chief Investment Officer, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Has been an active advocate for the leveraged loan and securitized markets. Founding Member of the Board of Directors: Loan Syndication & Trading Association; Structured Finance Industry Group.
