Deputy Director, The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime

Tuesday Reitano is an expert in transnational threats, peace and security, governance and development.

She is the Deputy Director of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organised Crime, an independent policy think tank based in Geneva, Switzerland, that she co-founded in 2013. She is a senior research advisor at the Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria, where she leads five organized crime observatories in Africa, and a Consulting Member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Security and Development Programme.

She holds three Masters Degrees in Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University in Canada, Public Administration (MPA) from New York University in the US, and an MSc in Security, Conflict and International Development (MSc) from Leicester University in the UK.
