Van Jones, is Co-founder and Head of Strategy at Hello Tractor, an agritech startup that uses smart technologies to connect farmers to productivity-enhancing technologies across the emerging and frontier markets. At Hello Tractor, Van focuses on building connections among the agi-business community in smallholder dominant markets.

Originally from the Midwest of the United States, Van built the early part of his career as a consultant working in China helping Fortune 500 companies identify growth opportunities across their East Asian markets. His career prior to Hello Tractor further extended into M&A and strategy at a large global conglomerate. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and in 2018 was recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus.
