Vanina is the
Chief Public Health and Government Affairs Officer at Institute Mérieux and bioMérieux, championing its enduring commitment to science, engagement and innovation. bioMérieux is a world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics and the Institute provides answers to public health challenges globally through its ith 4 complementary companies — bioMérieux, Transgene, Mérieux NutriSciences, Mérieux Equity Partners, together with the Mérieux Foundation.

At the forefront of her endeavors lies an unwavering dedication to ensuring healthcare is accessible for underserved communities, and she previously was the Director General at Foundation S, the philanthropic “think and do tank” of Sanofi.

A lawyer by training, Vanina has held leadership roles in large healthcare companies, and before that at Gavi the global vaccine alliance. She is an experienced board member for not-for-profit organizations and taught at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs.
