Since 2008, tenured Curator and Collection Keeper, Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection, National Museums Berlin. Honorary Professor, Humboldt University, Berlin. 2006-11, Member, German National Die Junge Akademie (BBAW/Leopoldina). Was in charge of curating the new papyrus display, Neues Museum on the Berlin Museum Island, today's largest papyrus exhibition in the world, for a public of about one million visitors per year. Recognized as one of the “100 women of tomorrow”, German Federal President and German Federal Government (2011/2012).
