Associate Professor, Mathematical Statistics, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)

Studies in Mathematics and Statistics, Athens and Dublin; PhD, UC Berkeley. At the age of 24, became the youngest faculty member ever to hold a chaired professorship at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and then one of the youngest ever ERC Starting Grant Awardees. Currently, Associate Professor of Mathematical Statistics, EPFL; leads a group of eight researchers developing mathematical statistics for complex data structures. Recipient of Erich Lehmann Award for an Outstanding Doctoral Thesis in Theoretical Statistics.
