Vyron Vasileiadis is the Founder and Chairman of V Group of Companies, a diversified and fast scaling conglomerate operating across Environmental Services, Port Reception Facilities (PRF), Waste Management, Renewable Energy & Alternative Fuels, Sustainable Shipping, and Financial Investments. With employed assets exceeding €620 million, more than 500 employees, and a 2025–2029 investment roadmap of approximately €500 million, V Group is positioned as a regional leader in environmental stewardship and sustainable industrial growth across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East, while operating one of the largest Port Reception Facility (PRF) companies globally.
A self-made entrepreneur, Vyron began his professional journey in 1995 as a site worker in the environmental services sector. Through resilience, executional discipline, and long-term vision, he built an integrated group delivering high impact environmental and maritime solutions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American College of Greece and has completed the Executive Course on Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century at the Harvard Kennedy School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Sustainability is embedded at scale across V Group’s operations. The Group serves over 35,000 vessels annually, operates under a net-zero emissions philosophy, achieves 100% waste valorization, and maintains zero net CO₂ emissions and zero net digital carbon footprint within its environmental services activities. These metrics translate ESG ambition into measurable operational performance.
In maritime, Vyron has led the Group’s expansion with a clear focus on modern, eco-designed tonnage and long-term sustainable building. He is the founder of VENERGY, V Group’s tanker-owning company, and OCEANV, the Group’s vessel company focused on the feeder container segment. Through these, V Group is developing a balanced shipping presence aligned with evolving regulatory, chartering, and sustainability requirements, while maintaining flexibility across global trade routes.
A defining milestone of Vyron’s environmental leadership is the establishment and expansion of Antipollution Egypt, the exclusive Port Reception Facility (PRF) provider of the Suez Canal, one of the world’s most strategic maritime corridors. The initiative underscores V Group’s role in safeguarding global maritime trade through advanced environmental infrastructure.
Vyron’s leadership has been widely recognized. He is a recipient of the KOUROS Award for Development and Innovation and has been nominated as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum. His contribution to sustainability, circular economy, and industrial excellence has been acknowledged through numerous national and international distinctions, including Environmental Awards, Waste & Recycling Awards, Circular Economy Awards, Manufacturing Excellence Awards, Bravo Sustainability Awards, Diamonds of the Greek Economy, European Business Awards, and Global Business Excellence Awards.
Beyond business, Vyron channels his values through the Deppy Vasileiadis Non-Profit Organization, established in memory of his late mother. The foundation supports children’s education, animal welfare, and environmental conservation, reinforcing the Group’s broader ESG and social impact agenda.
With clarity of purpose, disciplined execution, and ethical leadership, Vyron Vasileiadis continues to lead V Group into its next growth phase where capital deployment, innovation, sustainable operations, maritime solutions and environmental responsibility are fully aligned.
