Vyron Vasileiadis is the Founder and Chairman of V Group of Companies, a fast scaling, diversified conglomerate at the forefront of Environmental Services, Port Reception Facilities (PRF), Waste Management, Renewable Energy and Alternative Fuels, Sustainable Shipping, and Strategic Investments. With employed assets exceeding €620 million, a workforce of more than 500 professionals, and a €1.5 billion investment roadmap through 2030, V Group is rapidly consolidating its position as a regional powerhouse across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East, while operating one of the largest PRF platforms globally.
A self made entrepreneur, Vyron’s journey began in 1995 as a site worker in the environmental sector. Through relentless execution, discipline, and long term vision, he transformed that starting point into an integrated group delivering high impact environmental and maritime solutions at scale. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American College of Greece and completed the Executive Program on Global Leadership and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.
Under his leadership, sustainability is not a concept. It is operationalized at scale. V Group serves over 35,000 vessels annually, operates with a net zero philosophy, achieves 100 percent waste valorization, and maintains zero net CO₂ emissions and zero net digital carbon footprint across its environmental services activities. These are not targets. They are measurable realities.
In shipping, Vyron is driving a new generation fleet strategy centered on eco designed vessels and long term sustainability. He is the founder of VENERGY, the Group’s tanker platform, and OCEANV, focused on the feeder container segment. Together, they form a flexible and future ready shipping presence aligned with evolving regulatory frameworks, chartering dynamics, and global trade flows.
A defining milestone in his environmental leadership is the establishment of Antipollution Egypt, the exclusive PRF provider for the Suez Canal, one of the world’s most critical maritime arteries. This achievement reinforces V Group’s strategic role in protecting global trade through advanced environmental infrastructure.
Vyron’s impact has been widely recognized through numerous distinctive awards across sustainability, circular economy, environmental innovation, and industrial excellence. He has also been nominated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
Beyond business, he channels his values through the Deppy Vasileiadis Non Profit Organization, founded in memory of his mother. The organization supports education, animal welfare, and environmental protection, extending V Group’s commitment to meaningful societal impact.
With a clear vision, disciplined execution, and an uncompromising commitment to sustainability, Vyron Vasileiadis is leading V Group into its next phase where growth, innovation, environmental responsibility, and maritime leadership converge.
