-Wafa Hmadi holds a Bachelors’ Degree in environmental protection sciences a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Higher Institute of Applied Biological Sciences of Tunis.
-In 2017, She has been hired as the coordinator in charge of the citizen adaptation to climate change project.
-Also has been in charge of the "Green climate forum project" and "green barometer project", by organizing events, documentary series shooting that describes the different types of pollution in 14 regions in Tunisia, working on an online platform, reports, and policy papers writing related to environmental issues.

-Member of the Tunisian delegation during the COP22 (as an observer), COP22, COP23, COP24, and COP25.
-Contributor to Climate change youth conference in Bonn, COY13, and Local COY Tunisia.
-Member of the climate action network of the Arab world during 2017-2019.
- A field environmental activist by working on various initiatives ;
- Initiating the local climate action program that aims to implement 8 climate plans in 8 Tunisian cities.
-Initiating and gathering young environmental activists from different backgrounds to present their contributions to the enhancement of the Tunisian NDC.
