Bachelor's in Philosophy, Renmin University of China; Master's in Philosophy, Peking University; Executive MBA, Fordham University and China Center for Economic Research at Peking University joint programme; Master’s in International Public Policy, Johns Hopkins University. 1995, began career in journalism as International Editor, People’s Daily. 1998-2009, Managing Editor, Caijing, a business and finance magazine in China; played a key role in the magazine's editorial and management decision-making, and was behind many of the milestone articles that carried Caijing to fame. Editor-in-Chief, Caixin Media, China’s leading business and finance media group; focuses on providing high-quality news reports through leading an independent and professional standard in China. Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum (2012). Recipient of honours and awards, including: Award for Outstanding Contribution to Institutional Journalism of the State Street Institutional Press Awards (Asia Pacific) in 2014; named a Young Leader, 2007 and 2008 Boao Forum for Asia; Leader of the Next Generation, Tallberg Forum in Sweden; Yale World Fellow, Yale University (2016). Go master; at age 15 was named a National Universities champion.
