Born in Basque Country, he studied Media Studies between Bilbao, Mexico and Madrid. After working in a film company in Belfast, he came back to Basque Country where he continued directing up to 12 short films and two documentaries at the same time as he keeps on working for The Industry Club of San Sebastian International Film Festival. He also gets involved in creative and social projects.
